Proctor loves a Junior Daffodil Parade – especially one where the sun shines as it did today. The streets were lined to cheer the kids, dogs (and one cat), bikes, unicycles, pogo sticks, school marching bands, schools and preschools that are the hallmarks of the Daffodil Parade’s little sister. The only floats were people-powered, but there were plenty of daffodils, real and crafted.
Here’s a photo album. The third parade of the Daffodil Festival – the Daffodil Marine Parade – is tomorrow starting at 11:30 a.m. It begins at Tacoma Yacht Club and follows Ruston Way to Thea Foss Waterway.
You can catch replays of this morning’s parade on TV Tacoma. Here’s a photo album.
